optigard ant gel
Optigard® Ant gel bait, powered by the active ingredient thiamethoxam, offers unparalleled control of a broad spectrum of ants by ingestion and transfer of the clear, odorless and palatable bait for effective colony control.
Attractiveness of the bait to ants is enhanced by its high moisture retention properties and the bait will remain attractive for at least two weeks following bait deployment. Ants that feed on the gel will return to their nest and transfer the bait to the queen and their young, thereby killing the queen, the young and the entire colony.
Target Pests: Argentine, Carpenter, and Ghost and other Ants (Excluding Fire, Harvester and Pharaoh Ants)
Application:
Apply approximately 5 mm length of gel (~0.1 g) for each spot with a minimum of 1-3 spots per m2 in locations where ants are observed actively foraging, entering the structure or next to ant trails found close to the structure.
Apply in cracks, crevices, corners, holes and out of the way places.
